We are thrilled to announce the arrival of the second drop of our collection with Joy Division & legendary Factory Records’ Art Director, Peter Saville. This collection focuses on the band’s second album, Closer and features jersey, fleece, knitwear, art shirts and t-shirts.

When we started Neuw, we put together a soundtrack that set the mood and captured the feel of the brand. It contained songs from genres ranging from dub to punk, world music to jazz and even techno. However, there were two bands from Manchester, England who heavily featured – two bands that influenced us not only with their sound and cultural presence but also their ethos and beautiful record sleeves and posters. Those two bands were Joy Division and New Order. 

“Joy Division has had a profound influence on music and fashion, and we are honoured to work with them to create a collection that captures their spirit and energy,” says Neuw Denim’s founder, Par Lundqvist. “They have been on our mood boards since the brand’s inception. To be able to work with some of our idols is truly inspiring.”

The collection reflects Joy Division’s and Neuw Denim’s dedication to craftsmanship. Each piece’s design balances function with style while focussing on comfort and versatility. 

“We wanted to create a collection that would appeal to both fans of Joy Division and denim enthusiasts,” Lundqvist explained. “Our goal was to create timeless pieces with longevity.” 

The Joy Division x Neuw Denim collection is available online and in-store now. Fans of the band and denim enthusiasts alike are sure to appreciate the collaboration’s attention to detail and commitment to quality.
